Summertime Lunch
The sun shines as the trees sway in their elegance
The lush green grass is soothing to the soul
Across the way the Sugar Loaf
Sweetly sits in quiet repose
I am Magical he says
Even in silence
I let the hurried world pass by
Wisdom has seen me through the ages
I am nature
I am creation
I am the peak for those who gaze
I watch the water in wonderment
Glistening in the glowing sun,
Sparkling like a silver fluid moving on,
The palm trees sway the journey of life,
Unhurried,
Unafraid,
Each tree in the garden is different,
Yet all living in harmony,
So much humanity has to learn from nature
In and out the sun shines
Like a child playing hide and seek,
The clouds move in heavenly motion,
Graceful in their eloquence,
If only we opened our eyes to see.

A NOSE
Some nostrils go in and out,
As if to say,
Look At me,
You Lazy Lout
EARLY JUNE MORNING
Lazily the horses wake up on this early June morning,
The weather had been so kind to-day,
The summer sun brightens the surrounding fields
WORDS
Words can be powerful things,
Be careful how you use them,
Be careful of their tone,
Be careful how you say them
