EARLY JUNE MORNING
Lazily the horses wake up on this early June morning,
The weather had been so kind to-day,
The summer sun brightens the surrounding fields,
Two robin redbreasts have perched themselves on nearby wooden fences,
So pretty and perfect are they,
I wonder if they are they married,
The wind is warm and gentle,
But still can be heard whispering amongst the elegant rich oak trees,
Swaying as if in harmony with the wind,
Yellow buttercups dot the long green grass,
As the puffy white clouds above slowly sail by,
Behind them, the sky is blue and radiates peace and calmness,
All is quiet in natures garden this morning,
As the horses decide it’s time to arise and frisk about,
The birds sing such merry tunes warming my heart,
An unusual friendly rottweiler dog
Looks for attention at the windowsill,
She looks in with curiosity and warm eyes,
Life feels good
In this early morning sunshine.

DARK WINTERS NIGHT
What a night,
The rain pelted the windows,
The sound heavier
As the hours progressed
MISTY MORNING
Misty, grey, November morning,
Everything still,
The sky is grey,
As the rain falls
THE HORSE
Has there ever been a more magnificent creature,
Such dignity and elegance,
And a sense of superiority,
