THE BOOK
To open it and not be able to put it down,
To love some of the characters,
To hate some too,
To try to guess the end,
And find out that you were right,
To leave the housework,
Just to get another chapter read,
To go to sleep bleary eyed,
Just before finishing a page,
To keep the pages turning,
Savouring every one,
To be absolutely lost in the magic that is,
The Book.

A NOSE
Some nostrils go in and out,
As if to say,
Look At me,
You Lazy Lout
EARLY JUNE MORNING
Lazily the horses wake up on this early June morning,
The weather had been so kind to-day,
The summer sun brightens the surrounding fields
WORDS
Words can be powerful things,
Be careful how you use them,
Be careful of their tone,
Be careful how you say them
outLoud Poetry
At OutLoud, we believe that poetry is more than just words on a page—it’s an expression of the soul, a connection between hearts, and a celebration of the human experience.
